Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship is a long-term hands-on placement in cornea at Susrut Eye Foundation & Research Centre, Salt Lake, Kolkata, offered under the Doctor > Fellowship track. It runs for 365 days.

Training happens inside a working eye hospital whose outpatient department sees close to a thousand patients a day, so the case mix is what the clinic actually brings in. Open to applicants from outside India as well as within.

Supervised case work through the full arc of care - clinic, theatre and follow-up - with responsibility handed over gradually.

Open to candidates who have completed their post-graduation in ophthalmology. Selection is by application; write to us if you are unsure whether you qualify.
